I had no idea Dave used to play water polo. I don’t think I can imagine you being competitive enough to want to win a contact sport like that.
Thoughts:
1. It would be cool if Pancake had huge breasts, so it could be an ironic name like those huge guys that are called Tiny or something.
2. You guys should get Science Corner a microphone. It’s difficult to hear her comments without being blasted in the earhole by the dudes’ audio.
3. If I were going to assign you Revenge of the Nerds characters, Dave would be Booger and Moses would be that guy from ER. I’m not comfortable assigning Campy one since I haven’t met him.
4. I wrote notes on a napkin while I was listening to this episode, but I left the napkin at work so once again I’m trying to comment from memory. I think I wrote down the word “gorilla” or something like that. Did you talk about gorillas? I guess I’ll get back to you.
I remembered. It wasn’t “gorilla,” it was “Chewbacca” (pretty close). What I was going to say was that I can sympathize with Chewbacca being scary. Although I didn’t find him to be scary in the Star Wars movies, there’s a scene in Poltergeist where the kid is lying in bed and sees a scary clown doll, so he puts a jacket over it, but the jacket has a picture of Chewbacca on it, and they cut to this weird close-up that I always thought suggested that the jacket gambit was something of a Pyrrhic victory because now instead of a scary clown, he had to look at a scary Chewbacca. I don’t know if that was their intent, but that’s what I took away from that scene.
Lastly, I’d like to complain that the majority of the discussion about this podcast appears to take place on the Facebook page, because I don’t like using Facebook if I can avoid it. But I just looked at it and now I see that someone else has already made my Science Corner microphone suggestion redundant. Bah, humbug.
I disagree with Scott: I think if we could actually hear Science Corner’s comments it would ruin some of the ridiculous charm that happens whenever all three of you shut up for a minute to listen to something none of us can hear. If I hadn’t met her in real life, I could totally think you guys were just trolling us and talking to Dave’s real doll.

So I have to say dudes: you might want to put a mic on Science Corner so when she drops some knowledge on our asses, we can, you know, freakin’ hear it! That is all.
BTW, I stole a shit ton of candy bars from Da Boys before I got caught. It was SO worth it!
Also: I only got caught because I showed a friend on my little league team how to lift the goods, and he Fed it all up. Moses: slicker than him. Pulled it off no problem. Alas, not everyone is a smooth as Mo or I.
P.S. I will always hate you for getting off of that traffic ticket charge! You slick lying bastard!
Ya, you got the story a bit wrong: I was in on the gig with the cops, so I didn’t spook. But the lame friend who got us caught didn’t know. He was the one who balled when they showed. To his credit: the cops DID cuff both of us 8 year olds (or whatever we were) and carted us off to our parents. My dad was pissed. My mom was like “whatever!” Ah, what a day…
As you can no doubt tell: I’m catching up on Ep 8… I know, I’m lame. Can’t manage to listen when they first come out.
